Dr. Gilda Banta

Dr. Banta received her degree in 1986. She continues to advance her knowledge by studying directly with highly acclaimed leaders in different specialties. She remains active in the Orange County, California, and the American Dental Societies. Currently, she is a part-time Clinical Instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry where she also fulfills her continuing education units. Additionally, she is a Denti-Cal Consultant for Delta Dental of California.

When not in practice, she enjoys time with her husband, Ernie and their two sons, Joshua and Daniel.

Staff

Since 1995, Dr. Gilda Banta has been caring for everyone who has joined this special practice with the help of her wonderful staff. The team consists of Dr. Keith Cowhey, Associate Dentist and two hygienists, Ann Biarbe and Jeannie Yack.  Lauren Macpherson and Nelda Leon are the dental assistants. Nancy Thompson and Judy Grady coordinate all patient relations.

Dr. Keith Cowhey - Associate Dentist

Dr. Cowhey received his D.D.S. degree from UCLA where he graduated with honors and was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and serves on the School of Dentistry Faculty as a part time lecturer.  An active member of the ADA, CDA, Orange County Dental Society, and the Academy of Operative Dentistry, Dr. Cowhey is also working towards becoming a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.  He enjoys working with patients of all ages and looks forward to serving your comprehensive dental needs.  Dr. Cowhey, who lives in Huntington Beach, also enjoys running, surfing, and hockey when he's not in the office.
